Infinite Technologies is Kevin Fournier. Twenty two years, one phone number, and a list of Maine businesses that have not had to think about their IT in a very long time.

Since 2004.

I started Infinite Technologies in 2004 with one idea. Small businesses in Maine deserve the same quality of technology that big companies buy, without the layers, the queue, and the contract that traps them.

Twenty two years is a long time in any industry. In IT it is several lifetimes. I have watched server rooms become closets and then become nothing at all. I have migrated companies off systems that were state of the art when I installed them. What has not changed in all of it is the part that actually matters, which is whether somebody picks up when your business is stopped.

The technology keeps changing. Answering the phone does not.

These days that also means AI. Not as a buzzword, but as the next real thing I can hand a business to take work off their people. Same job I have always done. Better tools.

Person you call
Kevin Fournier, owner of Infinite Technologies in Lewiston, Maine

The owner. Every time.

Most IT companies grow by adding people between you and the person who can fix it. I have spent twenty two years doing the opposite, and it is the whole reason clients stay.

What you are used to

  • You submit a ticket and wait in a queue
  • A different tech every time, learning your network on your dime
  • Support hours that end before your business day does
  • A three year contract with an exit fee
  • Recommendations that always seem to mean buying more

What you get here

  • Same day response, every time, no exceptions
  • The owner answers, and already knows your setup
  • On-site the same day most of the time, next business day at the latest
  • A price before the work, not a surprise after
  • A trusted advisor, not a vendor waiting for your next order
  • Local. Lewiston based, Maine businesses only

Five things I believe
about small business IT.

These are not values on a wall. They are the reasons my clients have stayed for years.

Downtime is the only real cost

Hardware and licensing are line items you can plan for. An afternoon where nobody can work is money you never get back. Everything I recommend gets measured against that.

An honest no beats an easy yes

If you do not need it, I will tell you. I have talked clients out of servers, out of upgrades, and out of software they were about to buy. That is why they call me before they spend money, not after.

A backup nobody has restored is not a backup

It is a green checkmark. The only backup that counts is one that has been restored from and proven to work, on a schedule, with the results in writing.

You should understand your own systems

Nothing gets explained in jargon and nothing stays undocumented. If you ever decide to work with someone else, you should be able to hand them a folder and walk away clean.

Stay because it works, not because you signed

I would rather earn next month than lock you into three years. Long relationships here come from the work being good, which is a much harder standard and a much better one.

The gear and platforms
I use every week.

Not a vendor list for show. This is what is actually running in the businesses I take care of.

Microsoft 365 Windows Server Windows & macOS Cisco Fortinet FortiGate Virtualization Business WiFi & switching Cloud & on-site backup Endpoint security VoIP & phone systems QuickBooks AI automation platforms

Lewiston based. Maine businesses only.

I am not a franchise and I am not a national provider with a Maine phone number. I live here, my clients are here, and if your systems are down I can be standing in your building. That is not a marketing angle. It is just the difference between a support ticket and a neighbor.

More than 5 computers?

See how I work before you hire me.

Take the free IT systems audit. I come out, go through your network, servers, firewall, backups, and hardware, and hand you a written report on where you actually stand. It costs you nothing and you keep it either way.

  • On-site review of your whole setup
  • Security gaps ranked by what to fix first
  • A written report you keep, even if we never work together
  • Worth $500. Yours free.

Businesses with more than 5 computers. Limited to 5 audits a month.
